It took just over a minute for three armed men to rob a Debonairs pizza outlet in Kensington - a suburb in Johannesburg - on Sunday.
In a video doing the rounds on social media, the men can be seen casually ushering patrons out of the shop at gunpoint. The manager and staff immediately put up their hands.
Like a well-oiled machine, two of the robbers herded staff members to the back of the store while the third robber emptied the tills.
After stuffing their pockets full of money, the men calmly left the premises.
Speaking to News24, Cleveland police station spokesperson Captain Johan Jordaan said a case of business robbery was opened.
"No arrests have been made so far and it is unclear how much money was taken during the robbery," he said.
In a statement, released through the group's official Twitter account, Debonairs said: "We are saddened that our customers and staff had to endure this robbery. We are doing what we can to support them and assist the police in the pursuit of justice."
No injuries were reported.
