Namibia collected their first full member scalp by beating Zimbabwe by 32 runs in Bulawayo on Tuesday, winning the T20 series 3-2 in the process.
Namibia, who are coached by former Titans and Dolphins all-rounder Pierre de Bruyn, won the second, fourth and fifth T20s to secure their maiden rubber against a full member nation.
This speaks to Namibia's gradual improvement as a cricketing nation while Zimbabwe's decline continues unabated.
Namibia's win saw them defend 128, to which Zimbabwe could only respond with 95 in 19.1 overs.
Namibia's 127/8 was underpinned by Craig Williams's 48 off 39 balls, but there were six single-figure scores.
However, there were key contributions from Ruben Trumpelmann (19), Jan Frylinck (15), and Michael van Lingen (12) that gave the Namibians a defendable total.
Zimbabwe's chase never got going, with Tony Munyonga's 28 being the only substantial contribution, with Namibia's six bowlers all taking wickets.
