The 35th edition of the Spar Women's Challenge series will kick-off on Sunday when more than 14000 women will put their best foot forward in the streets of Cape Town.

The Women's Challenge series is run in seven cities around South Africa, bringing together elite runners as well as women who take part for the fun in a race that is only for women.

The top runners are competing for Grand Prix points, with the ultimate winner taking home a lucrative R200 000.
