SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt looked at the DStv Premiership trophy like a long-lost lover while sitting next to Rhulani Mokwena, whose Mamelodi Sundowns are inching closer to celebrating seven years as the piece of silverware's undisputed partner.

This wasn't the case in Hunt's first stint with Matsatsantsa a Pitori from 2007 to 2013. SuperSport had such a close bond with the trophy that they were practically inseparable.
