When the Hey Neighbour music and lifestyle festival was first announced in May, the seven-month wait foreshadowed what would await festival goers who report long lines and even longer wait times for several things. 

An estimated 15 000 people made their way to the Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria on Friday for the first of the three-day festival to see acts like Tyla, Khalid and The Chainsmokers perform. 

On Saturday, a festivalgoer who asked not to be named reported a three-hour wait for an Uber on Friday evening and said she ended up having to wait for a friend to drop some of the friends in their group off before returning to pick up the rest so that she could get home.
