For a year Marinet Janse van Rensburg and her son Marlo (5) battled cancer together. But this week, 14 months after little Marlo was diagnosed, he died.

Marinet says even though his death breaks her heart, she has to keep fighting because her two other children need her.

Marlo's little body was small and bruised but even though he was weak, he never gave up –  he kept fighting until the end.
