SAPS Algoa Park detectives are urgently seeking the community's help in locating 41-year-old Mfundo Sifile, who has been missing since October 28, 2023. He was last seen leaving his fiancée's residence on Tromp Street in Missionvale, driving his employer's vehicle. He had promised to return by 14:00 but has not been heard from since.

A case regarding the missing person was opened in February 2024.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu said, it is alleged that at about 13:00, Mfundo Sifile left his fiancé’s house on Tromp Street in Missionvale with his employer’s vehicle, a white Opel Kadett with a promise to return at 14:00.

Naidu said that was the last time anyone had seen him.

Sifile who worked as a taxi driver was last seen wearing grey pants, black T-shirt and black takkies.

"The vehicle was found abandoned on the night of his disappearance in Kwadwesi," Naidu concluded.

Police are appealing to anyone who can assist in tracing Sifile or may know anything about his disappearance to contact SAPS Algoa Park, D/Const Ashron Bergman on 067 082 5379 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or the nearest police station.
