The Zondo commission will continue to hear evidence related to state-owned South African Airways Technical (SAAT) on Wednesday.
Former SAAT head of procurement Nontsasa Memela is expected to be cross-examined after she concludes her evidence.
On Tuesday, Memela was questioned on whether it was ethical for the SAAT board to visit the headquarters of US-based aviation company AAR Corporation in May 2015.
At the time of the trip, SAAT had issued a tender to procure components.
AAR was one of several companies who applied for the tender.
The evidence leader of the commission advocate Kate Hofmeyr questioned Memela about the trip and whether the rules of SAAT and tenders allowed for the company to interact with bidders while the tender process was still open.
Businessman Vuyo Ndzeku, who was mentioned in the questioning of Memela, was also expected to take the stand.
