WATCH: Porsche driver robbed of R100 000 watch

Police are looking for two men who were involved in an armed robbery of a man for his watch worth R100 000 in Midrand on Sunday.

The two men are seen in CCTV footage which shows a white Porsche slowing down before the boom gate at Kyalami Estate, with a white VW Polo in tow.

Moments later, the men approach the Porsche driver and a brief struggle ensues.

Police spokesperson Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo said the incident happened at 12:19.

"Two unknown suspects approached him driving a white VW Polo and demanded a watch," he said.

"They took a watch valued at R100 000 and they fled."

Mamabolo added that no injuries were reported and that police were investigating a case of robbery with a firearm.
